Are you a business looking to help with worksite visits? Please contact Jackie Mounts at jackie@1hope4u.com
Skills for Life (SFL) is a partnership with the BOYAC (Building Our Youth and Community) program at the Clark County Juvenile Courts.  SFL teaches job readiness skills, interview skills, resume skills, and character development to young men who are trying to make a purposeful change in their lives. These young men are part of the court system, but have decided they want purposeful change in their lives. Partial funding for SFL is received by Jobs and Family Services

As part of SFL we also take the young men to work sites for visits. In these visits, the young men are exposed to different jobs as well as presented an opportunity to ask employers questions about what they look for in employees.
