The Ark of HOPE provides a safe and loving environment for children (ages K-5th grade). We are located on the south side of Springfield serving one of the most in need neighborhoods of the city. At the Ark, you will find kids building relationships with our Cedarville Work Study students as well as our other staff members and volunteers. Our leaders take time to not only work with kids on their math and reading skills but spend time relationally with every child. We are blessed to have every adult on our HOPE team. Each day we are open, we invite children to explore new, exciting, and fun ways to learn. We are equipped with STEM activities to use, loads of books to read and much more. We like to sing, dance, play, eat, and paint lots of fingernails! It is NEVER boring at the Ark because we constantly look for fun! We spend the last fifteen minutes with the kids sharing the Gospel through Bible stories. We want every child to know that God made them, God loves them, Jesus wants to be their friend, and He never breaks His promises. God has a special plan for each one of them! We believe it is important to show up in the lives of kids and we are overjoyed to have a space where we can make that happen.
