The Ark of Hope is a new center funded by a grant through the Ohio Department
of Education SLOAG Grant. The grant allowed 30 plus children to experience an exciting
after school program. The Ark prepares an environment where kids could experience
sharing with their friends playing games, Legos, art projects, a STEM area and home living,
a quiet area housed with a couch and bean bags are available where the kids could relax,
do their homework, read a book, or play a video game. An educational room is available for
students to be helped with their homework, work on an iPad that they can connect to the
program from their school and work on their own level of accomplishment. The kids are
mentored by Cedarville Students. Food is provided each day for the students. Ark of Hope also hosts Bible Club. This is a club at the end of the
day, Bible Club was held where the kids were able to learn about Jesus and how much He loves
them. What a blessing!
